U.S. shares of the green, S&P 500 by 10 percent weekly rise

U.S. shares rose more expensive, thus their weekly growth rose by the largest since 1974 after JPMorgan Chase acted to deal with problematic mortgages, interbank interest rates decreased and the profits of companies outside the financial sector grew four times faster than in the previous quarter.

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) aims to sell assets of Lehman in Europe to days

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), which is representative of Lehman Brothers International (Europe), aims to sell the units asset management and corporate finance bank in Europe to days, the company said. The message comes a bit after it became clear that Barclays Plc. Bid Division of Lehman Brothers, who is engaged in investment business in the U.S..

Currently we are in negotiations with potential buyers and our aim is to a deal in the next few days“, says a company release.

Bernanke: Inflation will be reduced

The chairman of the U.S. Federal Reserve Ben Bernanke said the financial crisis in the U.S. and high inflation harm economy and put a serious test before the central bank in its attempts to restore stability in the market. This happened during the Bernanke speech before the heads of leading central banks in the world who have collected at its annual meeting in the United States.

Again bank failure in U.S.

Yesterday was registered in the U.S. serial bank failure since the beginning of the year after the Federal Corporation for deposit insurance (FDIC) closed underrun in Kansas Columbian Bank and Trus. So the bank failure in the biggest economy since the beginning of the year has already made nine.

Middle East oil fell to 122.10 dollars for a barrel

The price of oil pointed to another sharp rise during the last session exchange for the week. Reason for this became comments by Deputy Prime Minister of Israel, that with regard to Iranian nuclear program agenda “are open all possible actions”, transmit Bloomberg. ProCredit Bank negotiated a new credit line

Hayretin Kaplan - President of the Black Sea Bank for Trade and Development on the one hand and on the other Petar Slavov, chairman of the board of ProCredit Bank and Rumyana Todorova - a member of the board signed a contract for a credit line worth 14.5 million euros, which will be used in three tranches, each of which for three years.

The euro board to new peaks

Fears about the future development of the mortgage crisis in the U.S. on track to lead the dollar to new historic beds. Yesterday the U.S. currency trading fell to 1,5937 EUR / USD, which is the lowest level of 23 April onwards. Record of the euro against the green of money is only one - at 1.6019 dollars to euros. Meanwhile, at the end of last week marked the single currency at its highest level against the Japanese yen so far.

USA: The biggest bank failure in 24 years

California Bank Indimak, one of the largest mortgage lenders in the U.S., was placed under the management of federal authorities.

Thus it became the biggest bankruptcy in U.S. banking institution for the past 24 years, has sent AFP.
